Raimat Abadia

Red Wine Raimat Abadia,  is made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo grapes, they come from 100% sustainable own vineyards and are harvested at night. They are pressed and make the alcoholic fermentation separately.

Raimat Abadia is a red wine made by the Raimat winery, in Raimat (Lleida), within the DO Costers del Segre. Raimat is the second project of Codorniu Grup, owned by the Raventós family.

The building of the Raimat winery dates from 1918. Joan Rubió i Bellver, who was a disciple of Antoni Gaudí, designed what was then the first building built with reinforced concrete in Spain. This was described, nothing more and nothing less, as the "cathedral of wine."

Currently at Raimat they practice sustainable viticulture to obtain high quality products minimizing the use of agrochemicals, reducing waste and optimizing production methods through the total integration of available resources. Raimat stands out from the beginning in the field of oenological research, more than 30 viticultural research projects confirm this winery as a true reference at European and world level. Raimat Abadia is a red wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo from their own vineyards.
